About

I offer talks and workshops for schools, study abroad programs, families, educators, bookshops, and cultural organizations. My work draws on 20 years of teaching experience, life and work in Italy, and extensive public speaking experience. From presenting to prospective university students at the University of Pittsburgh, to performing in musical theatre, teaching high school, leading motivational talks for young people, and facilitating musical theatre and ESL workshops, I have the passion and the know-how to move and educate any audience. My sessions explore how children and adults make meaning through language, story, place, performance, and culture.

Offro conferenze e workshop per scuole, programmi di studio all’estero, famiglie, educatori, librerie e organizzazioni culturali. Il mio lavoro nasce da 20 anni di esperienza nell’insegnamento, dalla vita e dal lavoro in Italia, e da un’ampia esperienza nel public speaking. Dalle presentazioni rivolte ai futuri studenti universitari presso la University of Pittsburgh, al teatro musicale, all’insegnamento nelle scuole superiori, fino agli incontri motivazionali per giovani e ai workshop di musical theatre ed inglese come seconda lingua, porto con me la passione e le competenze necessarie per coinvolgere ed educare qualsiasi pubblico. I miei incontri esplorano il modo in cui bambini e adulti costruiscono significato attraverso lingua, storie, luoghi, performance e cultura.

My talks and workshops are a strong fit for schools, universities, study abroad programs, international education providers, language schools, bookshops, libraries, cultural associations, parent groups, teacher training programs, and organizations working with children, students, families, or cross-cultural learning. I also work with the Italy retreat sector, especially women’s retreats, creative retreats, slow travel experiences, and programs that want to offer guests a deeper, more reflective encounter with Italian culture, language, place, identity, and personal meaning.

I miei interventi e workshop sono particolarmente adatti a scuole, università, programmi di studio all’estero, enti di formazione internazionale, scuole di lingua, librerie, biblioteche, associazioni culturali, gruppi di genitori, percorsi di formazione per insegnanti e organizzazioni che lavorano con bambini, studenti, famiglie o nell’ambito dell’apprendimento interculturale. Collaboro anche con il settore dei retreat in Italia, in particolare retreat per donne, retreat creativi, esperienze di slow travel e programmi che desiderano offrire ai propri ospiti un incontro più profondo e riflessivo con la cultura italiana, la lingua, i luoghi, l’identità e la costruzione di significato personale.
